The Versatile Blogger Award

So first off all, for those of you who have no clue what it is the versatile blogger award is, it a way for readers to get to know the blogger a bit more and the other way around too.
Thank you so much to  Bebhinn ( ) who nominated me. Her blog is amazing so check it out if you have some free time. Pretty much how this works is that is you are nominated you have to :
1. Put the Versatile Blogger award badge on your blog.
2. Write 7 facts about yourself.
3. Nominate another 15 bloggers who you think have great blogs.

So without delaying my fact even further:

1. I was born in Ukraine and moved to Winnipeg when i was five, then after a year i moved to Toronto which is where i live now.

2. I have no idea what i want to do with my life. Everyone asks what university i'm going to, which courses i'm going to take and what i'm going to do with the rest of my life and i have no clue.

3. I am in love with Supernatural. I know i'm a little late with this since the series started so long ago but for someone who loves scary and supernatural thing its a great tv show series.

4. Not exactly sure why but i have always wanted to go to Brighton. It just seem so peaceful and pretty.

5. I am such an unhealthy eater. I will choose the chips over the salad any day and what make it worse is that the extent of my exercise is walking my dog.

6. My first real makeup product was a concealer that i can't quite remember the name of but it was like 2 shades too dark. No clue what i was thinking back them.

7. I cannot think of another fact but something boring about me is that I am a major book nerd and love art.

As for the 15 people:

1. Coco Cami at CocoCami
2. Brittney at Another Beautiful Thing

11. BeautyBlogger xox at ♡ BeautyBlogger! ♡ outlook at Beauty Outlook
13, 14. to be honest most of the other blogs i read are by people with a million followers who are amazing at what they do so im not nominating them for that reason but some of them are tanya burr, zoella, essiebutton, and sprinkle of glitter.

Lasting Finish matte lipsticks by Kate Moss

I am absolutely in love with this lipstick. Let's start off with the fact that its super long lasting. I can actually still see it on my wrist from when I did swatches.  Like many other matte lip products it can be a bit drying, especially the dark red, but its nothing a little lip balm can't fix. Also, it is so pigmented, there is no need for more than 2 coats. It comes in loads of different shades and do not even get me started on how good these smell.
The dark red one is shade 107. Sadly they don't have names, only numbers. It is quite hard to wear since it's a bit out of my comfort zone but I still absolutely love it and if you're in the market for a new red I highly suggest this one.       The next one is a coral in shade 32 and I think it would be amazing for summer. A little tip, if you want to go for a more natural look put some lip balm under it, then apply a little bit of the lipstick and then finish it off with another layer of lip balm. P…

It's been a while

I was looking through my computer and stumbled upon this blog that was active long ago. Looking through some of my old posts I realized how much I have changed over the years. Since my last post, I have successfully completed two years of university, made some great friends (even a boyfriend), and have learned a lot (not just about NMRs and antibiotic resistance). So here are 3 things I have learned in the past couple years:

1. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is the only way you'll grow. Through most of high school, I was very shy and only had a couple of good friends. I struggled with talking to new people and was always worried about what they thought of me. When I started university though I used it as a way of starting fresh and becoming a better version of myself. I'm not saying it's easy but it is definitely worth it.

2. Its okay to fail sometimes. First year actually wasn't too bad for me but when second year came around I spread myself too thin and di…

Reading Week

With the stress of school off my shoulders for reading week, I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to make a post. Things are going relatively well and I find myself actually enjoying what I'm learning, which is something I am not very familiar with.  I also find myself watching a lot of Grey's Anatomy to my grades peril. It has me wondering what I'm going to do when I graduate. Will I go into research, do a masters, go to med school... (probably not the last one)? It's one of those things I've never understood, how people know exactly what they want to do. The only thing that I do know is that I want to help people and really have a positive impact on someone's life.
In other news, I got a little pet. She's a cute tiny hamster who keeps me up at night running on her wheel and chewing anything she can find. But overall, it's nice to have some company.
Anyway, that's enough of my procrastination, I should get back to work…
