Liebser Blog Award

A Liebster Blog Award

A while ago I got nominated for this award by the amazing Little Robin from I want to thank you one more for nominating me.

Now onto the actual part; answering the questions.

What is your favourite memory?
My favorite memory is probably going to summer camp when I was little. I loved being outside in the forest and the arts and crafts were amazing.
What is the weirdest thing you have ever done?
I've done a lot of weird things so it's really hard to pinpoint one...
What is your favourite Disney movie/character and why?
When i was little my favorite movie was snow white. I cried every time she ate the apple and whenever someone asked me what my name was i would say snow white. When i got a little older i fell in love with the little mermaid and forced my sister to watch it with me at least 20 times and now my favorite would probably be Beauty and the Beast. You can never be too old for Disney.
Dresses/skirts or pants/shorts? Why?
Definitely skirts and dresses they are just more comfortable, however, I am not the type of person to go out when its negative 20 degrees in a skirt and tanktop.
Die of heat or cold?
I would rather die of cold. I feel like if you dyed to heat you would feel yourself burning but if you dyed of cold you would kindoff go numb.
Chocolate or lollies?
Lollies all the way. As much as i love chocolate there are more options with lollies and they are just yummier.
What is your favourite artist/song?
At the moment i am loving Panic! at the disco and pretty much any song by them is good.
Cats or dogs?
I am a huge animal person so its really hard for me to decide but because i have a dog right now i'm just going to go with dog.

Have you ever been to a funeral?
Nope. Unless you count the funeral I gave my hamster when I was ten.
Are you more of a morning or night time person?
Night. I stay up till like 2 in the morning and getting me to wake up sucks.
I'm also not sure if i'm the only one but i press the snooze button in my sleep and then don't remember doing it.
Favourite makeup item?
Lipstick. It adds the perfect pop of colour.

Now here are the people i nominate :

Pear Phongsawad-
Velveteen Rabbit

And the questions...
What is your favourite TV show?
If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?
Have you ever stayed at a hotel? If you did, did you steal the little soaps?
Sweet or savoury?
What is your hobby?
What did you want to be growing up?
Do you sing at the top of your lungs when no one is home?
Do you sleep with socks or no socks?
Tea or coffee?
Have you ever made a fort with blankets and pillows when you were younger?

Lasting Finish matte lipsticks by Kate Moss

I am absolutely in love with this lipstick. Let's start off with the fact that its super long lasting. I can actually still see it on my wrist from when I did swatches.  Like many other matte lip products it can be a bit drying, especially the dark red, but its nothing a little lip balm can't fix. Also, it is so pigmented, there is no need for more than 2 coats. It comes in loads of different shades and do not even get me started on how good these smell.
The dark red one is shade 107. Sadly they don't have names, only numbers. It is quite hard to wear since it's a bit out of my comfort zone but I still absolutely love it and if you're in the market for a new red I highly suggest this one.       The next one is a coral in shade 32 and I think it would be amazing for summer. A little tip, if you want to go for a more natural look put some lip balm under it, then apply a little bit of the lipstick and then finish it off with another layer of lip balm. P…

It's been a while

I was looking through my computer and stumbled upon this blog that was active long ago. Looking through some of my old posts I realized how much I have changed over the years. Since my last post, I have successfully completed two years of university, made some great friends (even a boyfriend), and have learned a lot (not just about NMRs and antibiotic resistance). So here are 3 things I have learned in the past couple years:

1. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is the only way you'll grow. Through most of high school, I was very shy and only had a couple of good friends. I struggled with talking to new people and was always worried about what they thought of me. When I started university though I used it as a way of starting fresh and becoming a better version of myself. I'm not saying it's easy but it is definitely worth it.

2. Its okay to fail sometimes. First year actually wasn't too bad for me but when second year came around I spread myself too thin and di…

Nails inc. London
Feathers- Brighton

For the past while when visiting sephora and shoppers I have seen this nail polish and have been attracted to it. Let start off withe the packaging. It is so cute! On the lid there is a bird in the colours of the nail polish and white feathers in the background. Speaking of feathers how creative is that. That's what I love about nails inc they have a bunch of creative nail polishes like sprinkles and leather effects.  There were a few flaws with the nail polish but if done right they could be so nice. One thing about them is that they are really messy. Since these are just really long peices of glitter made to look like feathers they stick out at the edges a bit. It's an easy fix but it takes a bit of patience. Also I recommend that you do a base colour instead of just layering it up on your nails because like any other glitter polish some places will be more sparse than others. In the picture above I layered it on top of Essie mint candy a…
